At Marymount Villa Retirement Center we are dedicated to serving all senior residents with dignity, respect and compassion. We foster residents’ independence and believe everyone can find meaning and joy in life, even when they need a little help with daily living.
Marymount Villa Retirement Center is a spacious and elegant five-story Independent and Assisted Living Community located in the heart of “old town” San Leandro, California. We are staffed 24 hours each day seven days a week with a capable and caring staff. Built, approximately five years ago, Marymount Villa offers a gracious setting and well-appointed décor with state-of-the art amenities.
Conveniently located just a few miles from major highways, within easy walking distance of BART/AC Transit and just 10 minutes away from Oakland International Airport, families from throughout the country and the San Francisco Bay Area choose Marymount Villa for its location and beautiful weather. Marymount Villa’s very close proximity to public transit, shopping, banking, the post office, library, medical offices, and places of worship allows our residents to not only be active members of the Marymount Villa family, but the wider community as well.
Our large sunny veranda overlooks the beautiful historic Casa Peralta, built in 1901, which is the site of many civic events. Residents can also take walks and enjoy the gardens and grounds of the Casa as well as the San Leandro Historical Society exhibits next door.
Importantly, unlike some Independent and Assisted Living Communities, we do not require long-term contracts or elaborate buy-in arrangements.
Our residents rent month to month at a pre-determined rate.
